We have addressed the weld cracking issue by increasing the thickness of the cylinder sleeve and having the bottom part of the cylinder go further up into the sleeve to give the cylinder more support. We also added a screw-in style cap, or gland as it’s referred to, made of steel not aluminum. We have added a locking screw to prevent the gland from turning out of the cylinder during operation. We have also added a grease fitting at the bottom pivot point instead of an oil hole.
